Jay O'Brien

Jay O’Brien has been inspecting Central Coast properties since 1995 and started O’Brien Building Inspections in 2000. Jay cultivates a growth mindset and caters to experienced buyers and sellers of high-end properties. He enjoys coaching his competitors and serving as an expert in home and commercial inspections. Jay puts continuing education and innovation first in his successful business model. He is continually improving his customer service oriented approach and fine-tuning his report system to deliver the best product in alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Noah Burleson

Noah Burleson, an inspector at O'Brien Building Inspections, has lived in California for most of his life. He comes with well-rounded experience and a diverse professional background including many years in the construction industry and three years as a California Firefighter.

Noah is trained in commercial building inspections by Carson Dunlop Weldon & Associates LTD (formerly CDW Engineering) and holds a certification for commercial building inspections. He is a certified Inspector for the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Noah is trained by long-time inspector Jay O’Brien.

Noah is attentive to detail, focused, and proactive in his continued building inspection education. He demonstrates excellent communication skills and provides professional and reliable customer service.

Tio Turrini - Smith

Tio is a valued and productive member of O’Brien Building Inspections. He has lived on the central coast for most of his life and his diverse professional background includes many industries in all of which he has excelled and promoted quickly. Tio served honorably as a leader in the United States Marine Corps and finished his period of service as a non-commissioned officer.

Tio has passed the National Home Inspection Exam (NHIE) and is a certified Inspector for the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). He is trained by long-time inspector Jay O’Brien.

Tio is dedicated to his continued education as a building inspector. He is thorough, efficient, punctual and at all times demonstrates a high level of integrity. Tio’s communication skills are excellent and he succeeds at calmly delivering accurate unbiased information to clients.

Lucas Villalba

Lucas Villalba, an inspector at O'Brien Building Inspectons is an active associate member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Lucas is trained by long-time inspector Jay O'Brien and brings a keen perspective that he honed while serving honorably as a U.S. Navy Engineer. A lifelong resident of the central coast, Lucas combines his knowledge gained through working in the construction industry, engineering, and home inspections with a friendly and attentive approach to inspecting.

community that he loves and calls home.
